Kinshasa, 20 September 2016 - A joint assessment mission team composed of the DRC Minister of Defence and other GoDRC representatives, MONUSCO Force Commander and civilian members from 20-22 September will visit several locations in North Kivu, Orientale, Ituri and Haut-Uele provinces with a view to eventually identifying a suitable transit centre for the SPLM/A IO elements extracted from the Garamba National Park, whilst intensive efforts are ongoing to determine a sustainable solution for this group.
